Your photos and portrait previews.

What is processed

When you create a portrait, your uploaded photo, style choices, optional preview name, and change requests are sent for AI image processing. Once Upon Love stores the uploaded photo, generated versions, and related portrait records so you can reopen and change your portraits.

Finding your portraits

Your browser stores preview history and access information. Use the same browser to return to My previews, or save a portrait to your email to receive a link to open it again. A secure portrait link gives access to your saved portraits, so share it only with people you choose.

Storage and deletion

There is currently no automatic deletion schedule for portrait files. In My previews, Delete photo & versions removes the selected portrait's uploaded photo, generated versions, and related portrait records from Once Upon Love's active portrait storage. Delete all photos & previews removes the portrait sessions accessible from that browser. Wait for the app's confirmation that deletion succeeded.

Removing a photo from the upload step or starting a new portrait does not delete earlier portraits. Clearing browser history alone does not delete stored portrait files. Deletion does not remove copies already downloaded or shared, and it does not guarantee immediate removal from service-provider systems or backups.

Service providers

The service uses cloud hosting, storage, and AI image-processing providers to create and retain portraits. Klaviyo processes your email address and portrait links to deliver the emails you request and any portrait updates you choose to receive. Their processing and retention are governed by their own terms and applicable agreements. These providers may process data in other countries.

Permission to upload

Only upload photos you have permission to use. For photos of children, you must be their parent or guardian or have permission from one. Do not upload sensitive documents or images that are not needed for the portrait.

Sharing and marketing

Uploading a photo is not permission to use it in public marketing. Public use of a customer's photo or portrait requires separate consent.

Purchases and email

Saving a portrait to your email lets us send its link and respond when you request help finding your previews. The optional portrait updates checkbox lets you subscribe to portrait ideas and occasional offers. You can save and view your portrait without subscribing, and unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time. Checkout is not available in the current preview experience. The preview tool does not ask for payment information.
