Portrait Questions & Answers

A little help before you begin.

Is the preview free?

Yes. Upload a photo and create a portrait preview without a credit card.

Can I include more than one person?

Yes. Use one photo containing everyone you want in the portrait. This preview tool does not combine separate photos.

Which styles can I try?

Abstract, Oil Painting, Watercolor, Royal, Pop Art, Animated 3D, and Impressionism. All seven are available in the same portrait builder.

Will it look like the people in my photo?

Your photo guides the familiar faces, expressions, and details that make the portrait personal. Look closely at your preview, then request a change or try another version if you’d like. You choose your favorite.

Can I try another style?

Yes. Choose Try again to create another version or pick a different style. Earlier versions remain in My previews unless you delete them.

Can I change something in a preview?

Choose Make a change and describe what you would like to adjust. This creates a new version so you can compare it with the earlier one.

What does the name field do?

It labels your saved preview. The name is not added to the artwork.

Where can I find my previews?

Open My previews in the browser you used to create them. If you saved a portrait to your email, use Find by email to receive a secure link on another device. You can also download a watermarked preview.

How do I delete a photo and its previews?

In My previews, choose Delete photo & versions for a portrait. This deletes its uploaded photo and all versions from Once Upon Love's portrait storage. The app confirms when deletion is complete. Copies you have already downloaded are not affected.

Can I order a canvas?

Ordering is not available yet. You can explore canvas sizes and room views while you choose your favorite portrait.

Are these hand-painted portraits?

No. They are digital artwork created with AI. Oil Painting and Watercolor describe the visual style. A canvas product would be a print, not an original made with physical paint.

Are the gallery images customer orders?

They are style examples made from the original photos shown alongside them. Your preview is created from your own photo, and results vary.
